Facteurs modulateurs de la vectorisation des contaminants chimiques par les microplastiques

Simon FINKBEINER joined the MASS team as a PhD student on 12 October 2026 for a period of three years.

Simon Finkbeiner

His research focuses on the study of factors influencing the vectorisation of chemical contaminants by microplastics. Based on the development of an analytical workflow and a pyrolysis-GC-HRMS method to simultaneously monitor microplastics and various families of chemical contaminants, the aim of this PhD project is to investigate the uptake, transport and desorption of chemical contaminants by microplastics.

This PhD project is part of the ANR JCJC VECTOR project (Vectorisation of Chemical Contaminants by Microplastics during Food Waste Recycling: The Case of Entomoconversion, 2026–2030), coordinated by Christelle PLANCHE.
