LIMOS

Laboratory Informatics, Modelling and Optimisation Systems

The LIMOS: Laboratory Informatics, Modelling and Optimisation System, was created in 1995 on the campus of the University of Auvergne at Cézeaux, to accompany ISIMA, the Public Engineering School in Computer Science. The LIMOS became associated with the CNRS in 2000, successively incorporating the SPI, STIC, MIPPU, ST2I and INS2I departments. Since January 2012, the LIMOS has an office in the National School of Mines at Saint-Etienne.

Our partnership focuses on parallel computing for statistical analysis of brain images, NMR, supercomputing, 2D data, data mining and optimisation.
